Orange River Francolin	Scleroptila levaillantoides	Party of c5 birds calling at roadside on 8th on C26 out of Windhoek to Khomas Hochland.
Hartlaub's Francolin	Pternistes hartlaubi	Pair seen briefly on cliff top at Erongo W L on 12th with several others calling. Birds also heard at Tandala Ridge and Waterberg N P.
Red-billed Francolin	Pternistes adspersus	Birds quite common in appropriate habitat, especially at Waterberg. Seen on 8 days.
Swainson's Spurfowl	Pternistes swainsonii	Bird seen briefly at Mahango G P on 18th with four on track as we approached Waterberg on 22nd.
Helmeted Guineafowl	Numida meleagris	Common in suitable habitat. Seen on at least 9 days in good numbers.
